It was during a business trip that Ref discovered the Japanese enthusiasm for gachapon, a practice deeply rooted in local culture. Completely captivated, he wondered why this playful experience hadn’t yet found its place here, even though Japanese culture is widely appreciated.

Examining previous attempts, he realized they relied almost exclusively on licensed collections. While those have their charm, the true essence of gachapon lies in original creations imagined by talented artists. That’s how Minippon was born.
